Notes: The releases assembled here do have much in common, but some remarkable differences as well.
29 of the tracks are the same - therefore (and because the stem from the same publisher and are crafted very similar) a common master release for them seems appropriate.
Miles Davis from Portugal has five exclusive tracks not present on the other release ("Budo", "Rouge", "Rocker" on CD 1 and "Old Devil Moon" and "I'll Remember April" on CD 2. In turn Miles Davis from France has four exclusive tracks not present on the first release ("A Gal In Calico", "Green Haze", "I See Your Face Before Me" and "Changes" – all at the end of CD 2).
Also the dates mentioned on release slightly differ: Miles Davis has its CD 1 entitled "Whispering (1949-1953)", whereas the French release says "Whispering (1949-1954)" here. In a similar way CD 2 is once entitled "Walkin' " and "Walkin' (1954-1955)" on the French Miles Davis.
Hence the order and allocation of tracks also differs (including the minor issue, that apparently the same song once reads "Inigma" and is entitled "Enigma" on the other release). Rating: 3.8
