Notes: No sooner had Hollywood Records come up with their own, unique Classic Queen compilation did they follow up with this companion compilation (again for the North American market) called, confusingly, "Greatest Hits". Its track listing and band career span covered broke the convention of the original EMI "Greatest Hits" compilation that had been Date of released some eleven years prior (including in the USA).

Warning: This 1992 version should therefore NOT be grouped with the original EMI Greatest Hits compilation from 1981!

To make things even more interesting, both "original" EMI "Greatest Hits" collections were subsequently re-Date of released as the "Greatest Hits I + II" double-package in 1994 -- including in North America. Rating: 4.4
